Meeting with the Embassy of the Ivory Coast

On the 27th of January, Open Trade Gate was visited by the Embassy of the Ivory Coast, which is based in Copenhagen. The meeting was attended by Ambassador Mr. Djérou LY, Counselor Mr. Sylvere Abion and the Consul General in Stockholm, Mr. Rolf Friberg. The Ivorian officials presented their proposal to organise an export and investment promotion event in Stockholm during 2010. Open Trade Gate is willing to participate in the seminar with information on how to export to Sweden.

Furthermore, follow up activities from the Export Seminar held in Abidjan in 2008 were discussed and Open Trade Gate welcomed new initiatives in the Ivory Coast in the future.

Mr. Sylvere Abion has been appointed as desk officer for Sweden. We congratulate him to the new position and look forward to a fruitful co-operation.
