Private Sector Financing and Trade Facilitation in Nairobi

On June 19-21 Ms. Unni Mannerheim, Open Trade Gate Sweden, participated in a regional seminar on Private Sector Financing and Trade Facilitation in Nairobi, Kenya. The seminar was arranged by Europe SADC States Bridge (ESSB) and aimed at increasing the cooperation between European institutions working with developing countries and East African companies.

The first part of the seminar was devoted to the European institutions presenting their services to the participating companies, followed by matchmaking and individual meetings between the parties. Partipants were European Institutions and Investment Banks, companies from Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda and Burundi and East African export organisations.
